Count yourself in

Tell us where you would live and what terms would work for you. Five minutes, no money, no obligation — and your answer is counted in your city, which is exactly what an owner, a partner or a bank will want to see.

What joining would mean

A home at cost

Long-term homes let at what they cost to run and finance, not at what the market will bear, in a building its residents control.

A network, not one address

Members can stay in furnished flats in other member buildings for a few months at a time — useful when life takes you to another city.

A share, refunded

Members buy a co-op share, refunded when they leave, and pay a small yearly fee. The amounts are not set — your answers help set them.

The whole story: How it works. Why now: A generation on hold.
