About European Housing Coop

European Housing Coop (EHC) is a project under development, led by Jonathan Imme. It is not yet a registered cooperative (eingetragene Genossenschaft, eG), a European Cooperative Society (SCE) or any other legal entity. Nothing on this website is a binding offer to buy membership shares, invest, or rent a home. When that changes, this page will name the legal entity making the offer and give its register details.

How we use AI

We use AI in several places on this site:

Carla, our chat and voice assistant, is an AI. Her answers can be wrong, so please check anything important.
Summaries of library resources are written by AI from the source's text.
Illustrations are generated with AI. Unless a caption says otherwise, they don't show real buildings or projects.
Narration on our films and deep dives is a synthetic voice.

Our deep dives and city and country profiles are drafted with AI help. A person reviews and approves each one before it's published. If you spot a mistake, please tell us and we'll fix it.

Liability for content

We write this site's content carefully, but we can't guarantee it's accurate, complete or up to date. As a service provider we're responsible for our own content under the general laws (§ 7 (1) DDG). We're not obliged to monitor third-party information that we pass on or store, or to look for signs of illegal activity (§§ 8–10 DDG). Once we learn of a specific legal violation, we'll remove the content straight away.

Links to other websites

We link to many external resources. We don't control what's on those sites, and their operators are responsible for them. We checked each link for obvious legal problems when we added it. If we learn that a linked page breaks the law, we'll remove the link.

Copyright

Unless stated otherwise, the texts, graphics and code on this site are © Jonathan Imme. Resources in our library belong to their authors and publishers, and photographs carry their credits where shown. Please ask before reusing our material beyond what the law allows.

Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Privacy

How we handle personal data, including cookies, is explained in our privacy policy.
