Think Future Design is a multidisciplinary creative studio founded in 2004 by Edoardo Carlino, an engineer and designer born in 1976 in Cosenza, Italy. The firm, based in Rende in southern Italy's Calabria region, operates across architecture, interior design, and industrial design for both private clients and businesses.
Carlino graduated in Building Engineering from the Università della Calabria and attended an Advanced Course in Industrial Design at the same institution. His career gained early recognition in 2001 when he won an award at the International Design Competition "Worldframe, Sports Fashion & Techno" organized by Safilo with his "Techno" eyeglasses project, which featured a heart rate monitor and mp3 player integration.
The studio has developed notable projects including the Hi-Can bed for Hi-Interiors, described as a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic canopy bed. Another significant work is the Info Table, designed for ZAD and produced by Foolish Design, which received the Golden A' Design Award in 2016. This table has been installed in high-profile locations including Accenture's Rome headquarters and appeared in the Italian television series Gomorra.
Think Future Design expanded its operations by opening a field office in Rome. The studio has also worked on hospitality concepts, including the Evolve Hotel project developed in collaboration with architects Sabrina De Caro and Michael McCullough. Recent commissions include retail design for Perla di Calabria in Rossano, Calabria. The firm received the Luxury Lifestyle Awards in 2020.
