Pedro Veiga – Arquitetura is an architectural studio based near Lisbon, Portugal, operating under the direction of Pedro Veiga. The practice emerged as an independent atelier following Veiga’s earlier experience at the atelier of architect Isabel Galvão Lucas in 2000, and subsequently at PBRC until 2005, where he contributed to housing and urban planning projects. The studio began taking on its own projects from 2006 onward, with notable involvement in the Herdade da Cortesia Hotel, where Veiga also served as general manager.
From 2018, the organisation shifted focus exclusively to architecture and tourism consulting, delivering projects such as new bungalows and a hotel in Montargil. At the end of 2020, Pedro Veiga – Arquitetura expanded its management and coordination activities to include studios in both Portugal and Angola, developing a significant number of projects in residential, hospitality/tourism, and service sectors.
The studio works on comprehensive architectural services, including design and the coordination of multidisciplinary projects. The scope has grown to encompass interior design and decoration, complementing building design and project management.
Recent examples from the studio’s portfolio include Vangor | 2Atelier, Brogueira Casa de Apoio, CJ Schoenstatt (building alteration), Pico II (a cluster of houses), and Villas. These projects reflect its range from urban housing developments to hospitality and support buildings, illustrating the breadth of its expertise in architectural solutions within the region.
