Park Associati is an architecture and design firm founded in Milan in 2000 by Filippo Pagliani and Michele Rossi. The studio began in a small converted flat and now operates from a former telephone factory in Milan’s Città Studi district, employing close to 100 architects, designers, and researchers. Its activities include architectural design, urban planning, landscape work, interior and product design, and research-driven consultancy.
Projects undertaken by Park Associati span workplaces, housing, retail, hospitality, and urban regeneration. Examples include the Salewa Headquarters in Bolzano, the Luxottica and Nestlé offices in Milan, the restoration of Torre della Permanente, and large-scale urban schemes such as Pirelli 35, the new Italian headquarters for Adidas and Condé Nast. The Pirelli 35 project, completed in partnership with Norwegian firm Snøhetta, converted a 1960s office block in Milan’s Porta Nuova district through adaptive reuse rather than demolition, emphasizing sustainability and integration with the city’s public spaces.
The practice is also noted for exploring new residential typologies, including student housing and projects like Consorzio Agrario and Le Altane di Lambrate. At Milan Design Week 2024, Park Associati showcased research on “urban mining”—the recovery, reuse, and circularity of materials in the built environment.
