The ENHR Annual Conference 2026 will take place in Oslo, Norway, from 30 June to 3 July 2026, under the theme “Housing and prosperity in the 21st century.” It is organised by the European Network for Housing Research (ENHR), with Oslo Metropolitan University (OsloMet) serving as the local host institution.
The conference will gather housing researchers, policymakers and practitioners from across Europe and beyond to discuss how housing systems shape and are shaped by economic growth, social inequality, demographic change and sustainability challenges. Plenary sessions, parallel workshops linked to ENHR’s working groups and special sessions will address topics such as housing affordability, welfare and housing policy, financialisation, migration, climate transitions and urban development.
A New Housing Researchers Colloquium will be held on 30 June, offering PhD candidates and early-career scholars opportunities for feedback and networking. The event is intended as a major annual platform for presenting cutting-edge housing research, comparing national experiences and fostering international collaboration.
Further practical details, registration information and calls for papers will be made available via the ENHR website and its linked pages.
