Zusammenstehen eG is a housing cooperative established by the German Tenants’ Association’s Bonn/Rhein-Sieg/Ahr branch and the Haus- und Grundeigentümerverein Bonn-Bad Godesberg. Its purpose is to develop publicly subsidised housing; the Caritasverband für die Stadt Bonn and Diakonisches Werk Bonn und Region later joined, alongside the City of Bonn, Stadtwerke Bonn and individual members. 1
The cooperative’s first development, “Wohnen unter der Godesburg,” is on the site of a former primary school on Friesdorfer Straße in Bad Godesberg, Bonn. The foundation stone was laid on 11 June 2025. 1 The Mieterbund’s announcement describes plans for 53 publicly subsidised apartments, a guest apartment, a shared room and a four-group kindergarten. 1 Other project information gives a total of 55 apartments, so the available sources differ on the planned number. 34
The project is intended to provide affordable homes, including for people eligible for housing support, and to create shared community space. The cooperative’s stated remit is community-oriented, publicly subsidised housing. 13 The buildings are planned to be barrier-free and energy-conscious; the project has also received support through the Landschaftsverband Rheinland’s inclusive construction programme. 1 The cooperative’s board members named in the foundation-stone report are Nikolaus Decker and Peter Kox; Felix von Grünberg is identified as chair of its supervisory board. 1
