Fyrstikkalleen 17 is a completed rehabilitation and conversion project in Oslo, Norway, carried out by Seltor AS. The site includes a former match factory with buildings dating from 1937. 1
The work covered the lower-ground floor and levels 1–3, alongside construction of a new fourth floor. Levels 2–4 were converted into 39 apartments, while Fyrstikkalleen School occupies the first floor. The project has a reported area of 5,300 m² and was completed in 2019. 1
The building’s listed façade was subject to strict requirements from the City Antiquities Agency, including guidance on window appearance. The work combined renovated windows with new windows designed to suit the building’s period. A new basement area was also created to provide an entrance and basement access for residents. 1
The apartments were handed over in early September 2019, followed by the school in November. The underground parking basement is shared with Grenselunden, another Seltor project completed in autumn 2018. 1
The project page identifies Fyrstikkalleen 17 Eiendom AS as the developer and lists the contract value as 115 million. It does not specify a currency. 1
