UAB “Investicijų ir verslo garantijos” (INVEGA) is a Lithuanian state-established financial institution and national promotional institution. 613 It was incorporated on 29 November 2001 and is registered as a private limited company in Lithuania. 612 Its registered headquarters are at Konstitucijos pr. 7, Vilnius, Lithuania. 611
INVEGA’s role is to improve access to finance by designing, administering and implementing financial instruments and other support measures. 16 Its activities address market gaps and are intended to support economic activity, particularly among small and medium-sized enterprises. 49 The institution provides loans, guarantees, compensation mechanisms, venture-capital or equity-related financing, and advisory support. 91216
The organisation serves several sectors. Its official website lists financing measures for businesses and individual entrepreneurs, including business start-up, development and continuity. 1 It also administers instruments for municipalities and public-sector entities, including loans, guarantees and compensation, as well as measures for agriculture and fisheries. 1 Its guarantee products include loan, leasing, factoring, performance and export-credit guarantees. 16
INVEGA operates nationally across Lithuania. 49 It also works with European-level financial networks: it is identified as a member of the Network of European Financial Institutions, while its products include national and European Union counter-guarantees. 16
The organisation’s general director and chairman of its executive board is Dainius Vilčinskas, who has held the role since September 2023. 1415 INVEGA has consolidated activities and resources from other Lithuanian public investment institutions, including VIPA, whose activities were transferred to INVEGA during the creation of a single national promotional institution. 3
