The organisation traces its roots back to 1902, when Theodorus ten Brinke founded a small contracting firm. Over four generations, the family business evolved into a multinational enterprise staffed by approximately 1,300 employees, generating annual revenues approaching €1 billion.
Historically, Ten Brinke expanded its activities from general contracting to include project development, financing, and investment. This growth accelerated following the entry of Albert ten Brinke in 1994, which marked a significant broadening of its development activities.
