Spółdzielnia Mieszkaniowa Wrocław-Południe is a housing cooperative based in Wrocław, Poland. Its registered office is at ul. Trwała 7, 53-335 Wrocław. 29 Its roots lie in the Wrocławska Spółdzielnia Mieszkaniowa, established in 1946 to address housing needs in the post-war city. 6 The present cooperative was formed in 1995 when that organisation was divided; Wrocław-Południe took over two-thirds of its assets, its investment activity and its traditions. 6
The cooperative manages residential properties and provides services to residents through four estate administrations, with resident councils also operating across the estates. 512 Its work includes property and estate management, technical support, member and premises matters, and maintenance of shared outdoor areas. 12 The cooperative also reports investing in building security, greenery and renewable energy; its website says photovoltaic panels have been installed on 35 buildings. 113
Its activities are centred on Wrocław rather than operating nationally or internationally. The cooperative’s current board lists Marek Dera as president and Mirosław Leonowicz as deputy president. 11 The organisation is recorded in Poland’s National Court Register under number 0000041710, with registration dated 25 September 2001; that is its KRS registration date, distinct from the cooperative’s stated 1995 formation following the division. 26
