SOLYD Property Developers is a Lisbon-based real estate development firm founded in 2015, formed through a partnership between Estoril Capital Partners and the European Principal Group of Oaktree Capital Management. Its operational focus is on new-build residential projects predominantly in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, targeting the mid to upper-mid market segments. The company's early activity centered on renovating historic properties for high-end buyers, but within two years shifted towards constructing new housing primarily for Portuguese households, aiming to address local demand for quality, contemporary urban living.
Since inception, SOLYD has acquired or developed over 50 buildings or plots in Lisbon, Cascais, Oeiras, Setúbal, and Loures, representing a total investment in excess of €1 billion. Its portfolio encompasses approximately 3,100 residential units and more than 60 retail spaces, with more than 1,400 apartments already sold. Major ongoing projects include ALTEAR in Alta de Lisboa—an urban cluster of over 170,000 square meters of residences and commercial spaces, and MIREAR in Miraflores, featuring more than 600 apartments across six buildings. Another current project, ÉLOU JARDINS in Loures, involves an estimated €115 million investment for 304 homes across 19 buildings with extensive private leisure facilities.
SOLYD routinely incorporates outdoor spaces and sustainable design features in its projects, with an increasing emphasis on energy efficiency and environmental responsibility. Recent public statements indicate ambitions to expand into Porto and the Algarve and diversify into rental and tourism sectors.
