Goldbach Kirchner raumconcepte GmbH is an owner-managed German company specializing in the design and production of partition wall systems, storage walls, and interior fit-outs. Founded in 1922 by Jakob Kirchner in Geiselbach, the business initially produced specialized wooden products and gradually expanded its portfolio, adding partition and storage wall systems in 1967. A significant merger in 2006 combined the expertise of Kirchner Schreinerei and Goldbach RaumConcept, shaping the current organization headquartered in Geiselbach, near Aschaffenburg.
The company now operates production facilities in Geiselbach and Dessau, with Dessau housing an advanced, highly automated production system for cabinet and partition wall components. This site can output 600–800 furniture components per shift and is designed for efficient series manufacturing, incorporating Industry 4.0 principles. Process optimization and digital networking are central, with production supported by sophisticated MES systems and custom-built automation. Goldbach Kirchner employs around 150 people between both sites.
Goldbach Kirchner’s current projects range from the manufacture of modular office furniture and transparent glass partition systems to the complete interior fit-out of office, hotel, and care sector buildings. The company is active in providing tailor-made solutions, and its flexible systems allow spatial redesigns without material loss. Notable recent achievements include the development of the GK CUBE, awarded the German Design Award 2021 for its focus on climate protection and reduced CO₂ emissions.
