The Zusammen Leben Festival 2026, under the motto "Gemeinschaftlich wohnen, bauen und wirtschaften" (Communal living, building, and economy), takes place on June 19-20, 2026, at Kunstverein Wagenhalle e.V. in Stuttgart, Germany. This first-time event unites actors in communal housing to showcase its potential, diversity, and societal benefits, linked to sustainable land policy.
Organized by a network of organizations including FORUM Gemeinschaftliches Wohnen e.V. (lead organizer), Stiftung trias, WOHN:SINN - Bündnis für inklusives Wohnen e.V., bring-together.de | Gemeinsam Wohnen, Wohnbund e.V., Netzwerk Zukunftsorte, innova eG, Netzwerk Immovielien, and Bundesverband Baugemeinschaften e.V., it features three foci: Politics & expert discourse, exchange & community building, and excursions to local housing projects with music, food, and more.
Expect workshops, barcamps, meet-ups, and celebrations for up to 1,000 attendees. Contributions are invited until November 21, 2025, via the festival form. Free tickets available from March 2026; supported by partners like IBA’27 Stuttgart and funders including Aktion Mensch e.V. and the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs.
