Impact Week 2024 is a three-day flagship gathering for the global community of “investing for impact” changemakers, taking place 27–29 November 2024 in Bilbao, Bizkaia, Spain. It is organised by Impact Europe (formerly the European Venture Philanthropy Association), in collaboration with local partners including the Bizkaia Provincial Council and Seed Capital Bizkaia.
Designed as a “play in three acts,” the event’s program is structured around the themes Madness, Boldness and Brightness. Day one (Madness) focuses on understanding today’s “mad world” and the systemic social and environmental challenges it faces. Day two (Boldness) convenes innovators, investors, philanthropists and ecosystem builders to share bold ideas, new financial instruments and collaborative approaches. Day three (Brightness) turns to implementation, with practical sessions, workshops and partnership-building to translate ideas into concrete action.
Impact Week 2024 builds on 20 years of Impact Europe’s annual conferences, and positions Bilbao–Bizkaia as a European hub for social and environmental impact investing. It offers participants cutting-edge content, networking and co-creation opportunities aimed at mobilising capital for a more sustainable, inclusive economy.
