Mosaïque is a participatory housing project in the Bas-Heurts district of Noisy-le-Grand, France, developed through a partnership between CPA-CPS and Coopimmo. The project was initiated by the city and Socaren, which selected the two organisations to deliver their first participatory housing operation. 1
The scheme comprises 43 homes offered through the Bail Réel Solidaire (BRS), a form of social homeownership. It occupies a 4,127 m² plot, with more than 2,000 m² planned as garden and 40% of the site designated as permeable, open ground. 1 The homes range from apartments to townhouses, and the project is designed to allow residents to contribute to decisions about their homes and shared spaces. 2
The project’s stated aims include high environmental performance and an intergenerational resident community, with a target of one-third of households aged over 55. 1 The page describes the project as announced on 10 June 2024; it does not identify an individual founder or provide a separate project founding date. 1
The project’s principal developers are CPA-CPS and Coopimmo; the city of Noisy-le-Grand, Socaren, La Coopfoncière and CAUE93 are also listed among its participating organisations. 1
