Living TO Falchera is a social-housing project in the Falchera neighbourhood of Turin, Italy, designed to expand access to below-market housing and support urban regeneration and social cohesion.4 The project involves the construction of 263 homes offered at reduced rents, with particular attention to families and young couples.4
The initiative was presented in Turin on 28 January 2026 and was described as being under construction at that time. Its stated purpose is to reduce housing costs and support longer-term residential stability and social inclusion, rather than responding only through emergency housing measures.4
Living TO Falchera is being developed through a public-private partnership. The project is promoted by the Fondo Abitare Sostenibile Piemonte (FASP), managed by Investire SGR, with the participation of CDP Real Asset, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and other major banking foundations in Piedmont.4 Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo is involved through FASP, contributing to the project as part of a longer-term investment strategy for affordable housing.4
The project is supported by €10 million from the Fondo Piani Urbani Integrati, managed by the European Investment Bank within Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The financing is implemented with support from the Finint Banking Group and Sinloc.4 Other organisations identified as having roles in the project include Fondazione Housing Sociale, Studio Picco Architetti, Cooperativa G. Di Vittorio and construction company COGEFA.4
The presentation included Turin Mayor Stefano Lo Russo, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo Secretary General Alberto Anfossi, and Turin councillors Paolo Mazzoleni and Jacopo Rosatelli.4 The project’s scope therefore combines housing delivery, investment, design, construction and local social objectives within the regeneration of Falchera.
