Le Jules is a conversion of a former office building on Avenue Jules Bordet in Evere, in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium, into housing and workspaces. The site is close to NATO headquarters. 234
The project was developed by Ciril, with a2o architecten as architect and Democo as main contractor. In December 2022, Brussels housing organisations Everecity and the Brussels-Capital Housing Company (SLRB/BGHM) acquired the project from Ciril; it was subsequently intended for social housing. 347
The former office complex was adapted rather than wholly demolished, retaining much of its concrete structure. The scheme includes 80 homes: 13 studios and 67 apartments with one to three bedrooms. It also provides workshops and offices, alongside bicycle and car parking. 347
The renovation began in early 2023, with BX1 reporting an investment of €30 million. Environmental measures include rainwater recovery, a heat pump and solar panels; project sources also describe reuse of materials and retention of the existing structure. 345 The apartments are part of the Brussels government’s Emergency Housing Plan, launched in 2021. 4
Everecity reported that the first residents moved in during February 2026, and that the project was inaugurated on 24 March 2026. 2
