Westridge Real Estate is a Dublin-based property company founded in June 2018, headquartered at 40 Northumberland Road, Ballsbridge. The company operates as a private limited entity, focusing on buying, selling, and developing its own real estate. Its leadership team has a background in delivering large-scale urban developments, particularly in commercial and residential sectors.
A notable milestone in Westridge’s history was the acquisition of the former DIT Kevin Street campus in central Dublin in 2019 for €140 million. This site covers 3.57 acres and is planned for redevelopment with a gross development value exceeding €800 million. Planning approval was secured for a significant mixed-use project including roughly 53,000 square metres of office space in two 11-storey buildings and 299 build-to-rent apartments in three buildings reaching up to 14 storeys. The redevelopment's expected economic output over a decade is estimated at €7.67 billion.
Westridge has also been involved with other significant Dublin sites, including the Camden Yard development, where it held the original acquisition before later partnerships for site revitalisation. The team claims experience in developing over two million square feet of prime commercial real estate and obtaining planning for more than three million square feet of new projects.
The company's activities cover both asset management and development, with stated commitments to integrating environmental, social, and governance considerations into their design and construction processes. Westridge remains a small private company but is active in some of Dublin’s most ambitious redevelopment schemes.
