Stavební bytové družstvo Vítkovice is a housing cooperative and property-management organisation headquartered in Ostrava, Czech Republic. It was established in 1959; it was first registered as Stavební bytové družstvo zaměstnanců VŽKG, and adopted its current name in 1975.23
The organisation provides technical and financial management for residential buildings and non-residential properties. Its services include property administration, building revitalisation, technical support and accounting; it also helps clients navigate housing-related legislation.2 The cooperative says it manages nearly 12,500 apartments, garages and non-residential units within the statutory city of Ostrava, and describes itself as one of the largest property managers in the Czech Republic by number of units managed.1
It also serves as the professional chair of owners’ associations in their statutory bodies. According to its website, more than 200 buildings have entrusted it with this role.2 Its stated operating area is therefore local, centred on Ostrava, even though it identifies itself among the country’s largest managers.12
The cooperative’s registered office is at Daliborova 390/54 in Ostrava-Mariánské Hory.312 Its director, Jiří Revenda, has held that role since November 2017, according to his LinkedIn profile.11
