Spółdzielnia Mieszkaniowa „Dąb” is a housing cooperative based in Szczecin, Poland. Its origins date to October 1965, when an information meeting was held in Dąbie with representatives of major local workplaces. An organisational committee was formed in early 1966 under Ryszard Krajewski, Teresa Michalewska and Stanisław Skrawecki; the cooperative was formally established by a General Members’ Meeting on 10 August 1966.2
The cooperative began by taking over two buildings in Dąbie. At the end of 1966, it had 146 members and 60 dwellings. It expanded through successive housing developments on Szczecin’s right bank, including Słoneczne, Majowe and Bukowe; the years 1978–1987 were its largest period of investment activity. From 1992, it also became active on the city’s left bank, taking over apartments formerly owned by the Szczecin Shipyard.2
Today, „Dąb” comprises seven estates—six on the right bank and one on the left—and reports more than 16,000 dwellings and over 50,000 residents. Its stated geographic reach also includes new housing developments in Bezrzecze and Warzymice.2 The cooperative’s historical first management board included Henryk Różański, elected president; the page does not identify its current leadership.2
Its main office is at ul. Rydla 71a in Szczecin.3 The sources reviewed do not identify official LinkedIn or Instagram profiles.
