Ronan Group Real Estate (RGRE) is a privately owned Dublin-based development and asset management company founded by Johnny Ronan, a prominent Irish property developer. The group's origins go back to the 1970s, with Ronan's early projects including the transformation of parts of Temple Bar and the historic Boland’s Bakery. In 1989, Ronan co-founded Treasury Holdings, which played a formative role in shaping major parts of Dublin’s cityscape before its collapse following the 2008 financial crisis. RGRE emerged as the successor entity, regrouping Ronan’s remaining assets and continuing as an independent player.
RGRE’s impact on Dublin’s commercial landscape is significant. The company has delivered more than 50 headquarter office buildings for major global tenants, and its projects have often set new benchmarks—such as securing the three largest pre-let office deals in Irish state history: for Vodafone, Meta (formerly Facebook), and Salesforce, each spanning hundreds of thousands of square feet. The group is also responsible for large-scale urban regeneration projects, including the Spencer Place development in Dublin’s North Docklands, which included 360 high-end apartments and the landmark Salesforce Tower.
The group’s scope includes office, residential, mixed-use, and hotel developments, with a current pipeline capable of delivering more than 10,000 homes and ongoing involvement in the massive redevelopment of the Glass Bottle site in Ringsend. Recent acquisitions include prestigious properties such as Bewley’s Café on Grafton Street.
