Since its establishment, the firm has specialized in both residential and commercial construction, with a marked focus on large-scale redevelopment and the revitalization of post-industrial sites. OKAM became part of the Aurec Capital Group in 2010, a move that expanded its financial foundation and international reach.
One of OKAM’s most high-profile transactions to date was the acquisition of a 62-hectare plot in the Żerań district of Warsaw, formerly the site of automotive industry facilities. The purchase, completed in 2023, ranks among the largest single land transactions in Poland’s capital. Plans for this area involve a multi-phase, multi-year transformation into a mixed-use district, with input from local stakeholders and preservation of historic elements. At present, OKAM leases warehouse and office space on the site while detailed plans for the area's future development are under consultation.
The company has a portfolio that includes projects such as BOHEMA – Strefa Praga (redevelopment of the former Pollena factory in Warsaw’s Praga-Północ), Central House, and Cityflow in Warsaw, as well as ŁÓDŹ.WORK and Strefa Piotrkowska 217 in Łódź. OKAM is also active in Katowice, highlighted by the ongoing INSPIRE project in Dolina Trzech Stawów.
