Grupo Copisa, headquartered in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat near Barcelona, is a Spanish business group established in 1959. Its origins trace back to Constructora Pirenaica S.A., founded to deliver infrastructure works for FECSA during the electrification of Catalonia. Early milestones include constructing the Hydro Power Complex in Valle de Cardós. Over subsequent decades, the company diversified into civil and industrial engineering, taking on projects such as thermal and nuclear power plants, major roads, railway lines, bridges, and landmark buildings in Spain.
Today, Grupo Copisa operates internationally, with projects executed across Europe, Africa, Central and South America. Grupo Copisa’s team employs advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) to manage complex engineering challenges. It maintains a focus on integrating sustainability and energy efficiency into projects, particularly in renewable energy infrastructure and water management solutions.
