Glenveagh Properties plc is a major Irish homebuilder headquartered near Dublin, established following the 2015 acquisition of land and development assets from Nama. It has since become a prominent player in Ireland’s residential sector and is publicly traded on both the Euronext Dublin and London Stock Exchange. In 2023, the company reported €607.9 million in revenue and employed around 500 people.
Glenveagh’s operations span three primary areas: suburban housing (family homes, particularly in the Greater Dublin Area priced at €450,000 or less), urban apartments (mainly delivered to institutional investors in cities like Dublin and Cork), and public-private partnerships with local authorities or state agencies. Its pipeline at the end of 2023 included land for 13,100 housing units and received planning permission for approximately 4,600 units, with further applications pending.
Production in 2023 included more than 1,300 suburban homes completed. Glenveagh’s in-house manufacturing arm, NUA, operates out of three factories and is designed to support large-scale, efficient homebuilding. Recent strategic moves include the acquisition of Harmony Timber Frame Solutions and the launch of a net-zero transition plan, reflecting growing attention to sustainable building practices.
The executive team is led by CEO Stephen Garvey, CFO Michael Rice, and Chair John Mulcahy. Glenveagh’s development footprint focuses on areas of high demand around Dublin and nationally, with particular emphasis on affordability, sustainability, and institutional partnerships.
