The European Federation for Living (EFL) is a non-profit network established in 2005, headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. EFL consists of a mix of social housing organisations, small-to-medium enterprises, corporations, and scientific institutes. Membership includes nearly 50 connected organisations based in nine European countries according to one source, though more recent figures from EFL itself list over 70 members and associates from 19 countries. Members collectively manage more than 1.3 million dwellings and business units.
EFL aims to foster the creation and improvement of affordable and sustainable housing. The network is structured to support knowledge exchange, practical cooperation, and project development across its diverse membership. Its strategic focus includes promoting efficient resource and materials usage, high-quality urban design, and sharing innovative practices in housing and urban development.

For example, EFL is a partner in CHARM (Circular Housing Asset Renovation & Management), which addresses sustainable refurbishment within existing housing stocks.
