ECOVERITAS, headquartered in Athens, Greece, is a consultancy focused on sustainable development, construction, and operation of buildings. The organisation originated from the practical experience and research of P. Levantis Development & Construction, aiming to address a gap in specialised expertise for sustainability within the Greek property sector. Its founder and managing director is Pantelis Levantis, an accredited BREEAM professional.
With over three decades of experience, ECOVERITAS has managed more than 35,000 square metres of development and construction projects of its own. It is recognised as a leading BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) assessor in Greece, with involvement in certifying more than 538,000 square metres of space under the BREEAM system, and over 107,000 square metres of new projects currently under certification.
The company’s activities range from technical consultancy and project management to applying internationally recognised sustainability standards such as BREEAM International and advising on corporate sustainability strategy. ECOVERITAS’s scope covers development, construction, refurbishment, management, and ongoing operation of buildings, both in Greece and abroad.
Recent project examples include the BREEAM-certified refurbishment of Archirodon offices in Athens (7,211 m², certified ‘Very Good’ in 2023) and the 265 Mesogeion office building, which received BREEAM In-Use ‘Excellent’ certification (6,134 m², certified in 2023). These projects illustrate ECOVERITAS’s tangible role in advancing practical sustainability and higher technical standards in the Greek built environment.
