Bonava Deutschland GmbH is a residential project developer active in producing homes and apartments, with notable operations in and around Hamburg. The organisation has roots that trace back to 1964, initially founded as Industriebau Fürstenwalde (IBF) in Brandenburg. Over the decades, it transitioned from industrial and structural projects to residential housing, notably following its acquisition by Swedish firms—first Siab in 1991 and later NCC in 1997. In 2016, NCC’s housing division became Bonava, signifying a dedicated focus on residential development.
Today, Bonava Deutschland GmbH works as a subsidiary of Stockholm-based Bonava AB. Around 500 employees are spread across regional offices and the headquarters in Fürstenwalde/Spree.
