ACER Bologna, formally the Azienda Casa Emilia-Romagna della Provincia di Bologna, is an economic public entity established under Emilia-Romagna Regional Law No. 24 of 8 August 2001. It has legal personality and organisational, financial and accounting autonomy. 3
Based in Bologna, ACER manages public and other residential property, carrying out maintenance, renovation and improvement work, and providing technical services for building and urban-development projects. The “Locazioni” page publishes rental notices for multiple municipalities in the Bologna area, including Bologna and Casalecchio di Reno; listings include public-housing calls and opportunities to rent other homes. 2 The organisation’s central office is at Piazza della Resistenza 4 in Bologna. 3 Its general director is Francesco Nitti, according to ACER’s 2026 organisational document. 11
