Grabarics Építőipari Kft. is a medium-sized Hungarian construction and property development company headquartered in Budapest at Realtanoda utca 5. Established in 1993 by Gábor Grabarics in Dunaújváros, the business initially operated as a family-led venture. Over the past three decades, it has grown to employ 267 staff as of 2024 and recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. The company recorded net sales revenue of HUF 40.1 billion in 2023.
Grabarics focuses on general contracting, property development, and the manufacturing of reinforced concrete elements. Its portfolio includes supply chain-linked facilities, public buildings, hotels, industrial developments, and commercial estates. Notably, Grabarics operates its own ferro-concrete prefabrication plant in Heves under the name Grabarics VasBeton (GVB), with a monthly capacity of 900–1000 m³, supplying both in-house and external projects.
Current and prominent projects include the transformation of a historic building into a 93-room hotel in central Budapest and the new headquarters for the National Media and Info-communications Authority in Budapest’s Visegrádi Street. The firm was also involved in the construction of Schneider Electric’s Hungarian facility.
