Fondation d'entreprise Eiffage, established in 2008, operates from 3-7 place de l'Europe in Vélizy-Villacoublay, near Paris, France. It funds insertion projects for people facing exclusion, sponsored by Eiffage employees or retirees, with activities spanning France and the group's international sites.
The foundation allocates about 500,000 euros annually to solidary initiatives, supporting over 260 projects since inception, including 248 employee-sponsored ones and 12 multi-year partnerships. Its selection committee meets three times yearly—in March, June, and November—reviewing around 20 proposals per session, while the board convenes twice annually for strategy.
Past partnerships ran from 2013-2018, aiding groups like Compagnons Bâtisseurs for low-income housing rehab, ATD Quart Monde for long-term unemployed workers on community sites, and Passeport Avenir, where Eiffage staff tutored modest-background youth toward engineering careers. Other efforts trained disabled individuals at Le Jardin Pêcheur restaurant and built earth-brick structures in the Sahel via La Voûte Nubienne.
Around 300 group staff and retirees serve as sponsors or volunteers, coordinating locally with grantees. In 2018-2019, 153 Eiffage employees mentored via Article 1, aiding 12,000 students annually to 100% employment post-graduation. The foundation prioritizes preventive measures, like anti-school dropout programs with Ma Chance Moi Aussi.
