Charmed Plume Productions is a non-profit live-action role-playing (LARP) organisation created in 2020 and based in France. It develops immersive role-playing experiences drawing on history, stories and fictional universes, with the stated aim of sharing them with international audiences. The organisation also works with other non-profit LARP groups and with designers, writers, artists and freelancers. 21
Its founder and lead producer is Lisa Wolfrum, whose responsibilities include event logistics, budgeting, player communications, graphic design and, at times, writing and game design. Loren Scipioni joined the core team in 2023 and works on social media, writing and design; she is the primary writer and designer of Heirs of the Dragon. Nandor Laklia is the creative experience lead, specialising in immersive storytelling, writing and game design. 2
The organisation’s projects include A Meeting of Monarchs, a Renaissance-set game inspired by the 1520 Field of the Cloth of Gold; Heirs of the Dragon – Seeds of War, inspired by George R. R. Martin’s work; and Dawn at Kaer Seren, inspired by The Witcher. Its Moonlight Tales project is a series of costumed balls in historic settings, developed with Denmark’s Rollespils Fabrikken. Its first production, A Meeting of Monarchs, launched in 2022 at Château du Boisrenault in Buzançais, France. 21
