The 2025 URBACT City Festival, organised by the URBACT Programme, will take place in Wroclaw, Poland from April 8 to 10, 2025. This leading European event will convene over 600 urban practitioners, city representatives, policymakers, and experts from across Europe at the UNESCO-listed Centennial Hall and adjacent venues. Participants will exchange urban solutions, explore 116 URBACT Good Practices—the most impactful, participatory, and transferable urban initiatives—and build partnerships for scaling these practices through the upcoming URBACT Transfer Networks.
Attendees will experience debates, thematic workshops, study visits, networking sessions, and presentations of innovative projects focusing on sustainable development, mobility, citizen engagement, and public space transformation. The festival is designed to foster collaboration, inspire cities to adopt proven solutions, and offer practical support for urban policy innovation. Wroclaw, as the host city, will showcase its successful approaches and urban renewal strategies. The event is held under the patronage of the 2025 Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the City of Wroclaw and is open to all interested cities and urban stakeholders, including regional and metropolitan authorities, the European Commission, and EU-funded organisations.
