The Philea Forum 2026, titled “Philanthropy for People and Planet,” is organized by Philea (Philanthropy Europe Association) and hosted by a group of Danish foundations including the Augustinus Foundation, Bikuben Foundation, Carlsberg Foundation, Hempel Foundation, Lego Foundation, Novo Nordisk Foundation, Velux Foundation, Villum Foundation, and others.
This four-day event will take place from May 18-21, 2026, in Copenhagen, Denmark, at the Tivoli Congress Center, expecting over 700 attendees from more than 60 countries, including foundation executives, policymakers, NGOs, academics, and philanthropic leaders.
It focuses on philanthropy’s role in equitable transitions toward resilience, sustainability, and shared prosperity amid climate and societal challenges. Discussions will address interconnected issues like people and planet, moving from problem identification to solution implementation, and balancing financial returns with minimal harm. The forum features keynotes, panels, workshops, networking, and site visits to inspire cross-sector partnerships and innovative initiatives for lasting change. Member-only registration is open until February 28, 2026, with general access afterward; capacity is limited and closes May 4 or earlier.
