Społeczna Inicjatywa Mieszkaniowa „KZN-Bydgoski” Sp. z o.o. is a housing company established on 2 September 2021 to deliver the government’s social housing programme in municipalities in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship of Poland.1 Its model is aimed at people who can afford regular rent but whose income is insufficient to obtain a mortgage.1
The company’s shareholders are the National Property Stock (Krajowy Zasób Nieruchomości, KZN) and 16 municipalities in the region: Barcin, Białe Błota, Dragacz, Gostycyn, Koronowo, Inowrocław, Mogilno, Mrocza, Nakło nad Notecią, Nowe, Pruszcz, Sadki, Sępólno Krajeńskie, Sicienko, Strzelno and Świecie.11 Its work therefore spans multiple local authorities within one Polish voivodeship, rather than operating nationally or internationally.11
The organisation develops and carries out multi-family housing projects with participating municipalities. Its website lists current construction projects in Barcin, Gostycyn, Inowrocław, Mogilno, Mrocza, Nakło nad Notecią and Nowe, and further planned investments in other partner municipalities.1213 For example, its Mogilno project comprises two apartment buildings with 60 homes in total. The company says its municipal shareholders can draw on the Government Housing Development Fund and the BGK Subsidy Fund to support investment delivery.1
The registered office is in Inowrocław, at ul. Transportowca 31 lok. 1.3 A 2024 National Audit Office report identified Jacek Olech as acting president from 19 August 2024; the sources available here do not establish whether he still holds that position.5
