Leth & Gori is an architecture studio based in Copenhagen, founded in 2007 by architects Uffe Leth and Karsten Gori. The practice operates from a combined office and exhibition space in the city, hosting events and exhibitions for architects, artists, and designers. The studio focuses on site-specific projects, working on new constructions as well as adaptations, conversions, and transformations of existing buildings, with an emphasis on architectural longevity, simplicity, and flexibility.
Leth & Gori has completed a range of projects, including the transformation of a former farm in Stubberupgård into supportive housing for vulnerable residents, where new brick-clad buildings were added alongside renovated historic structures. The studio also designed the Brick House in Nyborg, a single-family residence built with clay blocks and bricks to ensure a long lifespan and low maintenance. Another notable project is the conversion of a 19th-century chapel into an activity centre for cancer patients, known as The Elephant House.
The studio’s work spans residential, institutional, and cultural buildings, often involving careful restoration and reinterpretation of historic typologies. Since 2021, Leth & Gori has collaborated with Rørbæk & Møller on select projects. The practice is recognised for its thoughtful approach to daylight, materiality, and spatial organisation, prioritising robust solutions and distinctive details in its built work.
