CITIES 4 CO-HOUSING

The journal highlights significant progress during the Adapt Phase of the network, marked by activities and collaborative exchanges focused on implementing innovative housing practices. Key themes included deep learning from the CALICO project's complex modules, particularly in legal, financial, and building practices. The first transnational meeting in Vila Nova de Gaia facilitated capacity building through participatory methodologies, resulting in the establishment of the ITN Cities4Co-Housing Testing Actions Bank.

Investment plans are being developed with partners making tangible progress in drafting sections that analyze needs, outline policy responses, and propose initial investments. Local URBACT Local Groups (ULGs) have actively engaged in refining testing actions and investment plans to address unique local challenges. Communication efforts have been enhanced through coordinated outreach activities, including websites and social media.

Looking ahead, partners are preparing for upcoming key milestones, including a transnational meeting focused on governance and social modules. The network remains committed to collaboration and innovation to ensure sustainable, community-led housing solutions. This quarter reflects a vibrant phase of collective learning and practical advancement, aligning with URBACT's mission to promote resilient and inclusive urban development across Europe.
