The 3rd European Responsible Housing Summit is a high-level gathering on affordable and sustainable housing finance, held in Prague, Czechia, on 18–19 November 2025. It is organised by Housing Europe, the European Federation of Public, Cooperative and Social Housing, in partnership with the Czech State Fund for Investment Promotion (SFPI).
Set at a crucial moment marked by EU cohesion policy review, a new EIB Action Plan and the forthcoming European Commission Affordable Housing Plan, the summit focuses on improving access to finance for public, cooperative and social housing providers and municipalities across Europe. Participants will examine how EU funds and financial instruments can better support renovation, new construction and the fair energy transition, in line with the Renovation Wave and New European Bauhaus.
The programme combines project “pitching” sessions between housing providers and major financial institutions with plenary debates and expert panels. Key themes include uptake of EU financial streams, design of long-term regional financial instruments, regulatory and ESG frameworks, and models for sustainable public–private partnerships. The event aims to build capacity, share concrete solutions and strengthen a European platform for responsible housing finance that can be adapted to diverse national and local contexts.
