The Klimafestival für die Bauwende will take place in Berlin on November 19–20, 2025, at Station Berlin, serving as a major event for sustainable construction and the building sector’s transformation. Organized by Heinze and BauNetz, the festival brings together professionals, manufacturers, innovators, and the interested public to exchange ideas and showcase progress in eco-friendly building practices.
Attendees can expect a diverse program, including keynote lectures, panel discussions, interactive workshops, and a special exhibition. The event focuses on collaborative dialogue between industry experts, researchers, and practitioners, aiming to inspire practical solutions and foster new approaches for climate-conscious architecture and construction. Numerous exhibitors will present innovative methods, products, and services, allowing for hands-on exploration at workbenches and dialogue stands.
With an anticipated participation of thousands from across the sector, the Klimafestival acts as a platform for networking, knowledge transfer, and presentation of start-ups and research efforts. The event also features the Heinze Architektur AWARD ceremony. Special attention is given to student and young professional involvement, with free entry offered to students. The festival’s mission is to strengthen the movement toward a more sustainable built environment by uniting various disciplines under the common goal of advancing the “Bauwende”—the transformation toward climate-friendly construction.
