The Urban Future Festival #UF24 took place from June 5 to 7, 2024, in Rotterdam. This event is Europe's most inspiring gathering for sustainable cities, bringing together passionate change-makers from various fields such as urban planning, architecture, mobility, energy, real estate, housing, tech, and public administration.
The festival featured a diverse program with 70 sessions, 30+ field trips, and 20 side events. It included 275 speakers sharing their expertise and experiences in transforming cities. The event focused on five tracks: Climate Adaptation, Building Sustainable Cities, Social Aspects of Transformation, Personal Growth and Leadership, and CityChanger Skills.
Attendees had the opportunity to explore Rotterdam through field trips on the third day, experiencing the city's sustainable projects firsthand. The event aimed to inspire, challenge, and connect participants with the world's most impressive urban change-makers. The Urban Future Festival is part of a global community of over 50,000 CityChangers and 200+ organizations working towards sustainable urban transformation. The event's mission is to support individuals in changing their cities for the better.
